David Liverett has been drawing pen and ink lighthouses since he and his wife, Avis, together with their son, Mark, lived in Maine in the 1970's.  He has worked as an illustrator since his days as a student at Anderson University in Indiana and has managed his own agency, D. Liverett Graphics, since moving back to Indiana in the late 1970's. Recently he has traveled to both coasts and from northern Michigan to Florida sketching over 60 lighthouses.
